Cathay Pacific is set to expand its U.S. network with the addition of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to its routes. Beginning April 24, 2024, the airline will offer four weekly flights connecting Dallas with its home base in Hong Kong. The Oneworld Alliance member will use Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on the route, offering business, premium economy, and economy cabins. Cathay Pacific will be the only airline offering direct flights on this route.
This marks Dallas as Cathay Pacific’s sixth U.S. destination, alongside New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago O’Hare.
The airline is also boosting its overall U.S. service. By May 2024, Cathay Pacific will increase its weekly flights to the U.S. from 88 to 108, including three daily flights from New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, and daily service from Boston and Chicago.
However, the airline has not yet resumed flights to Seattle, Newark, and Washington Dulles, which were part of its pre-pandemic schedule.
