Hawaiian Airlines is gearing up to debut its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on routes to San Francisco and Los Angeles come next spring.
These state-of-the-art 787-9 aircraft will showcase a revamped cabin interior, with a highlight being the business-class suites.
From April 15 to May 14, Hawaiian's inaugural Dreamliner will serve the daily route between Honolulu and San Francisco. Following this, starting May 14, the aircraft will be deployed on select flights connecting Honolulu and Los Angeles. Furthermore, starting May 15, travelers can also experience the Dreamliner on select flights between Maui and Los Angeles.
The airline's 787s are designed to accommodate 300 passengers across two cabins. The business-class cabin, christened "Leihoku" by the airline, will feature 34 seats, each equipped with sliding privacy doors. The economy section will house the remaining 266 seats, with 79 of these offering additional legroom for enhanced comfort.
Hawaiian Airlines has ambitious plans for its fleet, anticipating the delivery of twelve Dreamliners by 2027.
