From May 7 - 9, 2024, join surf legend Laird Hamilton, former professional athlete Gabby Reece, and the XPT Team for a three-day ultimate fitness adventure. The XPT Experience Costa Rica caters to all fitness levels, offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the XPT lifestyle. Activities include performance breathing, underwater workouts, gym training, nature workouts, ice-heat sessions, recovery work, advisor lectures, and XPT lifestyle education. The retreat, hosted at the boutique Santarena Hotel, starts at $7000USD and includes accommodations, meals, hydration, snacks, and a comprehensive fitness program.
XTERRA Costa Rica: A Multisport Challenge
On August 23 – 25, 2024, Las Catalinas will host the first-ever XTERRA Costa Rica, an off-road multisport endurance competition. The event features a full-distance triathlon with a 1600-meter open-water swim, 28-kilometer mountain bike, and 9-kilometer trail run, as well as a sprint triathlon and various other races catering to different skill levels and ages. Organized by Las Catalinas and Coopenae with Luis Diego Chaverri as the race director, XTERRA Costa Rica promises to be a three-day sports and family festival celebrating outdoor challenges and nature.
