Pensacola, Fla. – This summer, Pensacola is set to captivate both regular visitors and first-time tourists with an array of fresh attractions and significant celebrations. The city promises an enriching experience with the launch of new direct flight routes, the introduction of exciting dining venues, and a variety of outdoor adventures.

Visitors can look forward to exploring Pensacola's famous beaches, known for their sugar-white sands and emerald waters, which stretch nearly 40 miles across Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key. These beaches offer free public access, numerous water activities, and vibrant local dining options. For those seeking adventure on the water, Condor Sailing Adventures offers unique sailing experiences on one of the rare 40 ft. Condor racing trimarans.

This season also marks the return of the free trolley service on Pensacola Beach, starting May 27 and continuing until September 2. It operates daily from 4 p.m. to midnight, providing a convenient option for exploring the area without a personal vehicle.

Significant events are scheduled throughout the summer, starting with Pensacola PRIDE, celebrating its 30th anniversary this Memorial Day Weekend. The Grand Fiesta Parade, commemorating its 75th anniversary, promises vibrant festivities on May 31. Additionally, the legendary Flora-Bama will celebrate its 60th anniversary with year-long events, highlighting its status as an iconic beach bar.

Further enhancing the local scene, new culinary experiences are set to open, including A Rustyc Spoon located at Marcus Pointe Golf Club and the Sunday Brunch service at Atlas Oyster House. BarSteak, another local favorite, extends its offerings with a new brunch service and plans to open Salad N’ Dash for quick, healthy meals.

Accommodations in Pensacola are expanding with several hotels being renovated or rebranded, ensuring comfortable stays for all types of travelers. New travel options include nonstop flights by Breeze Airways starting June 28, enhancing connectivity to and from the city.
