Railbookers has announced the return of its "Around the World by Luxury Train" itinerary for 2025, offering an extraordinary 59-day journey across 12 countries. The reduced-length trip, which departs on September 3, follows the success of its 2024 debut, which spanned 80 days and traversed four continents, visiting over 20 cities in 13 countries.
The new itinerary will take passengers to 20 cities, maintaining the essence of global travel by luxury rail while optimizing the schedule for efficiency. "When we created this one-of-a-kind journey a year ago, it was a response to the growing demand for luxury rail around the globe," said Railbookers President and CEO Frank Marini. He noted that the 2025 itinerary has been "refined and tailored to maximize our guests' time."
The 2025 journey will feature travel on seven of the world's most iconic luxury trains, including the Rocky Mountaineer (Canada), Belmond Royal Scotsman (Scotland), La Dolce Vita Orient Express (Italy), Venice Simplon-Orient-Express (Europe), Rovos Rail (South Africa), Maharajas' Express (India), and the Eastern & Oriental Express (Southeast Asia).
Pricing details for the 2025 tour have yet to be disclosed. The 2024 trip started at $113,599 per person, although the price did not include five international overnight flights, which will again be excluded in 2025.
This announcement follows Railbookers' recent expansion into South American itineraries and the addition of La Dolce Vita tours in Italy, underscoring the company’s commitment to offering diverse and luxurious rail experiences around the world.
