SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) is set to introduce a new service connecting Copenhagen and Atlanta, starting June 17. This new route will cater to the increasing demand for travel between these two cities, offering daily flights during the summer season. The service will be operated using Airbus A330 aircraft, ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey for passengers.
During the winter season, the frequency will adjust to five times weekly, utilizing the Airbus A350, known for its fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
In addition to this new route, SAS is also expanding its services between Denmark and North America for the summer. The airline plans to increase the frequency of its flights between Copenhagen and New York JFK to up to twice daily. The Copenhagen-Boston route will also see an enhancement, transitioning from six times weekly to a daily service. Furthermore, SAS will introduce a fourth weekly flight between Copenhagen and Toronto, responding to the growing travel interest in these regions.
