El Al, Israel’s national airline, has announced a waiver on change and cancellation fees for passengers in response to escalating violence with Hezbollah and growing concerns of further conflict involving Iran. This comes after recent missile attacks on Israel and suspensions of flights to and from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.

United Airlines has suspended its operations to Tel Aviv in response to the recent missile attack by Iran on Israel, which occurred on April 13. This decision comes as a safety precaution, affecting numerous flights including the scheduled service from Newark and a planned departure to Jordan from Washington Dulles on Tuesday.

Delta Air Lines is set to reestablish its presence in Israel by resuming its service to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) on June 7, 2024. This move comes after Delta, along with its major U.S. competitors American and United, had suspended flights to Tel Aviv in the fall due to the conflict initiated by Hamas' attack on Israel on October 7.
