Hyatt Hotels Corp. has announced a strategic alliance with Under Canvas, integrating the glamping brand's 13 outdoor resorts into its World of Hyatt loyalty program. This partnership allows members to book stays at Under Canvas locations and the luxury Ulum Moab through Hyatt's booking channels, earning and redeeming World of Hyatt points in the process.
Under Canvas specializes in upscale, safari-style accommodations situated near major national parks and outdoor recreation areas in the U.S. Notable locations include Montana's Yellowstone National Park, Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains, and Maine's Acadia National Park. The addition of these unique properties offers Hyatt members more options for immersive nature experiences without sacrificing comfort.
The collaboration also highlights Under Canvas's Ulum Moab, a luxury offshoot introduced last year. Unlike the typical Under Canvas camps, which do not offer WiFi, Ulum Moab provides WiFi access in its lobby lounge and restaurant, catering to guests seeking a blend of nature and connectivity.
Additionally, select Under Canvas camps and the Ulum Moab have joined the Mr & Mrs Smith platform, enhancing their visibility and accessibility. Hyatt acquired the Mr & Mrs Smith platform last year, further broadening its portfolio of distinctive travel experiences.
Hyatt's integration of Under Canvas into its loyalty program underscores its commitment to expanding unique and upscale accommodation options for its members, merging luxury with the allure of the great outdoors.
