The next ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, Disney Destiny, is set to launch in November 2025, offering an array of Marvel-inspired experiences that promise to enthrall fans of all ages. This latest addition to the Disney fleet will sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, embarking on four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
The Disney Destiny will be infused with the dynamic spirit of Marvel heroes and villains, featuring new spaces and experiences designed to immerse guests in the Marvel Universe. "The heroes and villains theme of the Disney Destiny provides the perfect platform for us to collaborate with Disney Cruise Line on all-new, Marvel-inspired experiences guests won't find anywhere else on land or at sea across the multiverse," said Brian Crosby, executive, Marvel Experiences Development.
Marvel-Themed Venues and Experiences
The Grand Hall of the Disney Destiny will be inspired by Marvel Studios' "Black Panther" films. This striking gathering space will feature metalwork on pillars and a breathtaking light fixture inspired by Vibranium. A statue of T'Challa, the Black Panther, will preside over the hall, which will serve as a living theater for immersive shows and interactive programming.
Guests will also enjoy Saga, a two-story venue for family activities and adult-exclusive evening entertainment, inspired by the architecture of Wakanda. The Sanctum, the ship's first lounge inspired by Marvel Studios' "Doctor Strange," will offer magical cocktails, spirits, and coffees amidst mystical artifacts.
For the first time, a Marvel Super Hero will be the signature stern character on a Disney Cruise Line ship. A sculpture of Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots will decorate the back of the Disney Destiny.
Luxury Accommodations
The Destiny Tower Suite will honor Iron Man's legacy with sleek, industrial designs balanced by inviting finishes. This Marvel-inspired penthouse, located high in the ship's forward funnel, will offer nearly 2,000 square feet of living space, accommodating up to eight guests. The suite will feature a full kitchen, a private ensuite elevator, and expansive views through a two-story window.
Concierge-level guests will enjoy access to exclusive areas, including a Concierge Lounge adorned with art celebrating the Avengers and a private sun deck.
Exciting Adventures for All Ages
The Disney Destiny will also feature popular experiences from other Disney ships, such as the Worlds of Marvel dining experience and the Marvel Super Hero Academy in the Oceaneer Club for kids aged 3 to 10.
The Worlds of Marvel dining experience will host an out-of-this-world celebration starring Rocket and Groot from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" films. Meanwhile, young recruits at the Marvel Super Hero Academy will train to become the next generation of heroes alongside their favorite Avengers.
