Turkey has announced a significant change in its visa policy, removing the requirement for North American travelers to obtain visas for entry into the country. The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism confirmed that visitors from North America, including the United States and Canada, will no longer need to purchase E-visas, which were previously available online for $51.50.
This policy change places the U.S. and Canada alongside Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as 20 other countries whose residents can now visit Turkey without the need for a visa. This move is expected to facilitate easier travel for North Americans visiting Turkey, enhancing tourism and cultural exchanges between these regions.
