Frontier Airlines has announced a new version of its GoWild! Pass, offering unlimited flights for a fixed price. The pass, priced at $299 for the upcoming fall and winter travel seasons, is the latest in a series of all-you-can-fly passes the airline has offered since its introduction last year.
The GoWild! Pass is available in three versions: an annual pass, a summer pass, and the newly introduced fall and winter pass. The annual pass is priced at $1,999 and is valid for travel between April 11, 2023, and May 2, 2024. The summer pass, valid for travel between April 11 and September 30, 2023, is currently priced at $499 for the first year, after which it will renew at $999 per year. The fall and winter pass, valid for travel between September 2, 2023, and February 29, 2024, is currently available for $299 for the first year, with subsequent renewals priced at $999 per year.
The pass allows travelers to fly to over 85 of Frontier's domestic and international destinations. However, it is subject to availability, and last seat availability is not guaranteed. Domestic flights can be booked one day before travel, while international flights can be booked 10 days in advance.
While the pass does not earn miles or count towards Frontier elite status, it does qualify as activity in the Frontier frequent flyer account, extending the life of miles. The pass is available to all ages, with those under 13 needing to be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian.
Despite its appeal, the pass may not be a good deal for all travelers. It does not cover baggage fees or seat assignments, and flights are subject to taxes and fees. Additionally, the lack of confirmed flight plans until just before travel may not suit all travelers. However, for those with flexible schedules and minimal baggage needs, the GoWild! Pass could offer significant value.
