Vacationers can look forward to a new way to explore Europe when Royal Caribbean International debuts the newly amplified Allure of the Seas in April 2025. The ship is set for a more than $100 million transformation, promising to deliver the ultimate summer vacation experience with over 35 dining and drinking options, resort-style pools, waterslides, and top destinations in Europe.

Starting April 2025, travelers can embark on Allure of the Seas for a 7-night western Mediterranean adventure from Barcelona, Spain. The itinerary includes stops in Provence (Marseille), France; Florence/Pisa (La Spezia) and Rome, Italy; Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and more, offering a unique perspective on some of Europe’s most captivating destinations.

"From the new Icon and Utopia of the Seas to now the more than $100 million transformation of Allure of the Seas, we've upped the ante threefold on the different ways vacationers can get away and make memories with Royal Caribbean," said Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer, Royal Caribbean International. "Allure will be reimagined with the best of Royal Caribbean and what travelers love."

The revamped ship promises an array of thrills and chills, ensuring every type of traveler finds their perfect vacation vibe:

All-out Thrill and Chill
  • All-day Pool Days: Resort-style pools with various seating and shade options, including casitas, in-pool loungers, and daybeds. The Solarium offers a laid-back, adults-only escape with the favorite Samba Grill and dedicated bars.
  • The Perfect Storm: A trio of multistory waterslides—Cyclone, Typhoon, and SuperCell—offers twists, turns, and maximum thrills.
  • Splashaway Bay: For tots and tweens, this water play area features slides, water cannons, fountains, pools, whirlpools, and double drench buckets.
  • The Lime & Coconut: This signature poolside bar, available in two locations, serves classic and twist cocktails, live music, and a lively atmosphere day and night.
  • El Loco Fresh: A poolside fiesta featuring tacos, burritos, and quesadillas.
Amped-up Flavors and Nights Out
  • Pesky Parrot: Following a standout debut on Utopia of the Seas, this Caribbean tiki bar offers fruit-based cocktails made with rum, tequila, and gin, alongside frozen drinks.
  • Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade: A place for all ages to catch live games on dozens of TVs, play arcade classics, and enjoy bar fare and ice-cold brews.
  • The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar: Serving Southern comfort food, live country music, and more, this spot is only available on Wonder and Utopia of the Seas today.
Adventures for Everyone
  • Ultimate Abyss: A 10-story dry slide experience with twists, turns, lights, and sounds. Guests can cool off with shaved ice at Wipe Out Bar.
  • Royal Escape Room – Apollo 18: Lunar Landing: A challenging escape room experience set in 1973 where families and friends solve puzzles to land Apollo 18 on the moon.
  • Laser Tag – Battle for Planet Z: A glow-in-the-dark laser tag arena in the Studio B ice rink.
  • Adventure Ocean: A revamped kids' area with climbable creations, art, science and tech workshops, interactive games, and programs for younger kids.
  • Social298: A transformed teen space with video games, music, movies, and hangout spots.

The new Ultimate Panoramic Suites offer 200-degree ocean views and are among the exciting additions to Allure of the Seas. These new experiences join a lineup of returning favorites, including Royal Caribbean’s signature entertainment across air, ice, water, and stage; rock climbing; FlowRider surf simulators; and popular dining spots like Schooner Bar, Bow & Stern English pub, Giovanni’s Table, and Chops Grille.

Following its European season, Allure of the Seas will head to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November 2025. Travelers can choose from 6- to 8-night vacations to the eastern Caribbean and The Bahamas, featuring destinations like the award-winning Perfect Day at CocoCay and the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, opening in late 2025.
